–Our society has changed drastically over the last 30 years. We are able to access the information we need via the internet with the blink of an eyelid. Today a microwave in the home is almost as common as running water. We want to do more in our in a shorter period time. On average, we accomplish 30-40 percent more in our daily lives than our grandparents did. We are able healthy quicker and fit sooner than in the past. This is a result of the new creations that exist today. One example is an increased advancement in the supplement industry. This has allowed us to become more fit with less effort in a shorter period of time. One of the inventions that has lead to the increased development in fitness is the fat burner
What are fat burners
fat burner is described as a nutrition supplement. The goal of this supplement is to create an intense increase in fat metabolism which in essence increases the amount of calories one burns which results in subsequent weight loss. It has been stated that the amount of energy burned is markedly increased while exercising. The ingredients in the fat burners are designed to break down fat and use it as a fuel source in the body via a stimulated hormonal reaction. One of the most common ingredients in fat burners is caffeine. The presence of caffeine will increase the hormone epinephrine. This hormone has known to breakdown fatty acids which are released in the bloodstream as fuel.
Other common ingredients used in fat burners are:
Green Tea Extract- EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate) is a component of green tea extract. EGCG decreases fat synthesis, increases the breakdown of fat and maximizes the body’s use of glucose which increases one’s energy source.
Forskolin- decreases body fat percentage and increased lean muscle
5-HTP -reduces hunger cravings which subsequently lead to reduced body mass and belly fat
L-Tyrosine- Increases the process of burning calories to produce heat
L-Theanine -lowers cortisols which reduces anxiety. Anxiety has been shown to lead to overeating and insomnia. Lack of sleep slows down the weight loss process
How many types of fat burners are there
There are 7 which are known I will name the most popular types, see below:
Thermogenic Fat Burners-are designed to increase your internal body temperature. Increased heat leads to an in your basal metabolic rate which in turn allows you to burn more calories and fat when you are at rest.
Stimulant-Free Fat Burners (my personal favorite)-For those sensitive to caffeine and other stimulants found in fat burner supplements. They still offer the benefits of other fat burners.
Appetite Suppressants-keep you from overeating and decrease your appetite. These supplements control the levels of ghrelin and leptin the two main chemicals involved in hunger.
Carb Blockers- work by inhibiting the enzymes that normally digest carbohydrates this in turn allows the cabs to pass through your body without being absorbed
Are fat burners along sufficient to lose weight
Repeated studies show that fat burners do work. However, these same results show that along with low calorie diets and moderate exercise they are most effective. The most common ingredients in these supplements are caffeine and ephedrine, After constant use your body will become accustomed to the intake of both of these ingredients which lessens the effectiveness of the fat burner.
What are the best fat burners
I really think that type of fat burner you use is based on your life style and physio chemical make up. I use non-stimulant fat burners along with moderate exercise and a low carb meal plan. This works perfect for me because I do workout and also I don’t want to take anything that give me the jitters. For who doesn’t workout those fat burners with stimulants may be best suited. Many individuals may prefer carb blockers, or appetite suppressants. Me personally, I found out what works for me as a result of trial and error.
